Lt. General Vincent Stewart Joins DCG
Donovan Capital Group, LLC (“DCG” or “the Firm”) is pleased to announce that Lt. General Vincent Stewart (Ret.) has joined DCG as a venture partner.
Lt. General Stewart served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 38 years, most recently as Deputy Commander of U.S. Cyber Command, one of the 11 combatant commands of the Department of Defense. Cyber Command integrates and conducts all military cyber-space operations, cyber warfare, and information operations.
Prior to that assignment, he was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. In that role, he served as the country’s highest-ranking military intelligence officer, and was the primary intelligence adviser to the Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Vince has also served as Commander, Marine Corps Forces Cyber Space Command and as the Director of Intelligence for the U.S. Marine Corps. He is currently founder and CEO of Stewart Global Solutions, LLC, an international consulting organization.
“I am excited to be a part of the Donovan team,” Vince said. “The Firm is serving a critical role in securing our national security innovation base. The threat we face from foreign investment by our adversaries is real and Donovan is leading the way in countering that threat with its Patriot Fund, alongside those investors who are committed to ensuring our country remains the world’s technology leader.”
“We couldn’t ask for a stronger partner than Lt. General Stewart and Stewart Global Solutions to help our portfolio companies deliver the best technologies to those on the frontline of our country,” added Claudio Ochoa, Managing Director of DCG. “Through his guidance and support, DCG will also continue to grow as the preeminent private equity/venture capital firm in the national security space.”
